Using "THE M.A.G.I.C. INGREDIENTS" in Consultancy, Training and Keynote Speaking | |
The M.A.G.I.C. Ingredients ( Mutual Acceptance of Gaps in Ideal Compatibility ) |
|
The
"Corporate Cake" should be developed and continuously improved to meet
stakeholders ( shareholders, customers,
suppliers, employees & society ) requirements and to maximize market share. To achieve
this the "Ingredients" must be carefully selected, treated with continuous care,
attention and developed to maintain a harmonious balance. Each key ingredient is critical if the corporate cake is to
be successful and have a long shelf life so that it will not go bland or sink. No one
ingredient should be allowed to overpower the others, each ingredient should be put in a
position of "empowerment" so that it can assert itself and contribute to the
overall flavor of the corporate cake.

As part of the unique presenting techniques, HMC uses the above magical effect to show that business processes cross functional boundaries and is used to demonstrate that old departmental and hierarchical walls must be dismantled. |
Any Company with visions of long term success and development should view
itself as a "Marriage of Resources" with the Company contributing the
leadership, financial, material, environmental and managerial resources and the employees
contributing in that environment with knowledge, skill, experience, innovation,
creativity, and whole-hearted endeavor. Employers and Employees must be committed to each
others success as a company and as individuals to achieve continued success and
development. A marriage of
resources:-
A marriage is a shared journey through life which necessitates unconditional care, continual learning and many paradigm shifts requiring dedication, commitment and a strong desire to succeed. A Companys lifecycle has many similarities but on a less emotional level, the same shared level of commitment between the stakeholders ( shareholders, customers, suppliers, employees & society) is however required if long term continued success and relationships are to be achieved. A key ingredient in any relationship is an acceptance that the parties in the relationship are not perfect and therefore there must be respect and accommodation for each others beliefs, opinions & feelings. If one party seeks to dominate then the relationship is flawed and will inevitably reach a stage of irreconcilable differences with obvious consequences i.e. dis-enchantment, resistance to co-operate, separation. This acceptance of the non-perfect relationship is critical to the success of the partnership and recognition of this fact creates an environment where the differences can be addressed in an open, honest environment without fear of recrimination. This "The M.A.G.I.C. Ingredient" ( Mutual Acceptance of Gaps in Ideal Compatibility ) is fundamental to the success and development of Companies/Organizations and individuals. Employees do not exist to be "Managed & Controlled" and equally so Companies/Organizations do not exist to provide unconditional life long support for its Employees. There are responsibilities and accountabilities on all sides which must be fully communicated and understood by all concerned with the success and development of the Company and its Employees. |
